Charity Celebrates Trustee Awards
Long service awards presented to valued trustees
Southend in Sight celebrated their team of current and past long-standing trustees with an awards presentation, during Volunteers’ Week.
Five of the trustees were all given certificates and a gift by the current Chairman of Trustees; Russell Cable, who also thanked them on behalf of the charity for their many years of service.
CEO Lucy Martin said “Several of these trustees have been volunteering for Southend in Sight for almost 50 years. They give up their time selflessly and work behind the scenes to ensure the sustainability of the charity and for this we are all grateful. We thought it
was high time they received proper recognition for their continued support.”
