Horse Riding Fun for Visually Impaired Adults
Charity organises horse riding for visually impaired adults at Belfairs Woods
Southend in Sight organised more successful horse riding lessons at Belfairs Riding School, this time for local visually impaired adults.
Following the brilliant efforts of our Paralympians in Paris earlier this month, the Southend charity organised for a small group of local visually impaired adults to enjoy horse riding.
For some it was their first time on a horse, but the experienced instructors from Belfairs Riding School were present throughout for support.
Community Engagement Officer Georgie Haynes said: “We were inspired by the “can-do” attitude of the Paralympians. Our group really enjoyed the freedom of being up high and at one with nature”.
