Fundraising duo smash target

Two local fundraisers – Lauren and Leia Kinch – organised a quiz last month and with the support of family and friends raised a total of £1,246.25 for Southend in Sight.

This is the 4th quiz the sisters have put together in memory of their Aunty Kath (a former staff member). In total they have raised £4,629 and with a generous donation of £500 from Kath’s dad (David), they have now smashed the £5K mark!

Fundraising Manager Catherine Hodgson says; “Our thanks to Lauren and Leia for all their hard work and for continuing to support Southend in Sight in memory of Kath – they clearly have a talent for organising successful fundraising events”.
